My name is Rachel Macniven, I am passionate about taking photographs of domestic, equine, other pets and livestock in their natural surroundings, without unnatural lighting.
This will bring out the character of your pet as you know them to be without the stress of a studio environment.
I take the time to get to know and bond with your much loved pet and discover their personality before capturing that for you to treasure for years to come.
I have many years of experience working with and photographing animals and feel that this is my calling.

How does my service work for you?
At Paws and Reflect Photography, I will snap your much loved pets in the surroundings they are most comfortable in, this means that you are relaxed and so is your pet, so we can capture them at their best, creating memories of them as you remember them.
The perks of this is that there are no expensive studio costs, the stress levels of your pets is kept at a minimum and you don’t need to worry about transporting them to an environment they aren’t used to.

Rachel’s connection with nature is undeniable, she captured my husky many times over the 13 years we were blessed to have him in our lives and I now have so many photos which I can look at with fondness, remembering where we used to walk together, frozen in time, gone but never forgotten.
